Private project of a 3D scene composed of four figures of Fantastic Four.
Private project of a 3D scene composed of four figures of Fantastic Four.
After we looking for references in comics of the characters together and separated, a scene was designed where each character had an attractive pose independently and together with the other three.
Once the composition and pose of each character was clear, we began to work each character independently, improving his pose and defining from the facial expression to the detail of each one.
Each figure has its peculiarities:
In addition to the figures we was modeled a base that looks well alone which could also join the others forming a single larger base.
We modeled four independent figures with a high level of detail and realism that could be joined by their base and to form a single 3D scene.
Private project of a 3D figure of the comic character from Mars Martian Manhunter, which is one of the founders of Justice League.
We was look for references and document ourselves about the comics of Martian Manhunter.
The first thing we did was to create the anatomical basis without pose to define the proportion and character musculature.
Once we get the desired anatomy, we studying different poses, finally choosing the one that we thought it best conveyed the power of the character.
With the pose already chosen, we retouch and adjust the anatomy of the digital figure to make it realistic.
We then create pieces of sculpture, being the first the cape as it would be an extremely important element in the final composition.
When we had finished the cape and the composition had a good flow, we model the remaining pieces of digital sculpture.
Finally, we designed for the base, where it showed Martian leaving the destroyed fuselage of a spaceship.
We developed a digital sculpture of Martian Manhunter with his old suite that was more faithful to the classic comics.
Private project of a 3D Kurosaki Ichigo Hollow, from Bleach anime, figure with a high level of detail.
We modeled the figure following 100% the Concept Art chosen and facing the challenge of achieving a high level of detail.
We modeled the figure trying at all times to follow faithfully the concept art and facing the challenge of achieving a high level of detail.
We sculpt the figure with many very detailed textures in fabrics, including pores and wrinkles and cracks in the rocks of the base.
In this project in addition, we paint the digital .
We modeled a realistic figure, faithful to the concept art, without losing the details.
Private project of a Kurama character of the anime series Naruto.
In this project we follow a concept art so that the figure in 3D would be exactly the equal.
In addition to the concept, references to get a concrete idea of all views of the sculpture were considered.
In this figure the level of detail is very high. We include pores, skin wrinkles and hair, sculpted one by one manually for optimum.
We model a figure with a high level of detail, true to the concept chosen.
3D Miniatures for the known game Infinity.
The customer, who already has a known wargame, needed to incorporate new figures that already had produced.
The customer sent the concept arts of the figures needed and different examples of poses that would like to use.
We started modeling miniatures and different pieces trying at all times to follow faithfully the concept art.
Once modeled the characters and their armors, we chose between the ones sent by the client, the ones with the best poses for each figure, trying to vary as little as possible comparing to the references we had. Then we sent them to the client for validation.
Once modeled we proceed to have them cut and ready to send to the client.
We modeled new miniatures, 28 mm scale, respecting fully the concept art and poses the customer needed.
Private project of a digital sculpture of Spider Gwen with interchangeable heads and hands.
The studio seek references in comics and we tested different poses in which the pieces could change without affecting the composition of the scene.
With the pose chosen we modeled the character with two heads and two different pairs of hands.
With one of the heads it’d be wearing a mask and a hood, which hold with one hand, leaving the other hand resting on her knee.
With the other head its face would be exposed and not take the hood up, but would fall on his shoulders. On the other hand would hold an iPhone which, once printed, a real cables that would imitate a headset would come out.
We developed a digital sculpture and its base has interchangeable heads and hands in the same figure.
Private project of a 3D Shazam figure, with interchangeable heads , to represent the story of the transformation of the character.
The first thing we did was look for references and document ourselves about the history of this superhero to offer the customer different compositions.
Once we had clear the scene, the pose and elements we wanted, we turn to model the 3D shape and its parts.
In this figure we had in mind the references to model the face of the main character in such a way to remind the classic comics and aesthetics of his time.
We managed to model a 3D sculpture that represented the chosen scene and also keep the classic look of the original comics.
Sculpture of several 3D miniatures for two teams of Fantasy Football.
The client had some produced miniatures (modeled by Sergi Torras) and needed modeling the different figures of the rest of the team to have it completed, urgently.
The client references gave us what he had in mind for figures. Considering the aesthetics of which he had already produced, we were proposing models with different poses and pieces. This way, the miniatures we modeled visually matched the customer’s ones.
We modeled different characters that were part of two teams of Fantasy Football, one Human and one Dark Elf.
Once 3D miniatured were approved, we prepare them for subsequent production.
Moreover, in this project we were taking high-quality renderings with materials that imitated resin to help the customer in its Kick Starter campaign.
A total of 23 3D miniatures of 28 mm in one month, which fitted perfectly with the rest of figures that the client already had.
As a result we get the miniature teams finished in record time and also the customer Kick Starter campaign was a success (60,000 € achieved).
Private project of two realistic miniatures of Spiderman, with a classic and recognizable pose, interchangeables for the same base.
After researching and seeking references in Spiderman comics, we made several tests.
Once the pose was agreed we started working on different costumes, the most detailed one is the biggest challenge we faced in this project, as we had to model by hand each line of the suit to made it realistic.
We managed to develop two realistic models of Spiderman, one with its classic suit and another in his black suit, in a very small size (48.5 mm, base included), which can be exchanged on the same base.
3D Miniature team of lizardmen to board game Fantasy Fotball.
The client needed a series of miniatures for wargame Fantasy Football, with high detail and football equipment.
3D models needed by the client were divided into 4 types:
The client passed us examples of other miniatures that he liked so we could have a first idea of what he was looking for. He also wanted the figures to have mayan and aztec design features.
Given what the customer was looking for, we started designing miniatures that combined the typical style in these games with the characteristic aesthetics of the Mayan and Aztec cultures.
First we designed a basic figure for each type of character, and then respecting the aesthetics defined, we modeled the different characters and their equipment.
Once the client has approved the miniatures with their armour proposals we send different poses of each figure. This way, all would be different, but visually fit as part of the same team.
Once approved all models had to be cut and prepared to be produced.
A total of 18 figures, 35 mm scale, were designed and modelled combining Fantasy Football with Maya and Aztec aesthetics.
