Private project of a digital sculpture of Dazzler, X-Men member from Marvel Comics.
Private project of a digital sculpture of Dazzler, X-Men member from Marvel Comics.
For the development of this private project we were inspired by several references of the character and followed one in particular, where she was on a stage.
After making some variations in the pose and volumes of the base, we find the final composition that we begin to model.
Once modeled the digital sculpture and its base we begin to detail all the elements, such as skin and clothing, and we included diamons on shoes and wrist bands.
We developed a digital sculpture ¼ scale with high level of detail.
Private project of a digital sculpture of Psylocke, X-Men member from Marvel Comics, with two interchangeable heads.
We sculpted the Psylocke character following the Jim Lee’s style. We were looking for a pose that would transmit the strength of this character without losing his femininity.
Once achieved the desired anatomy in the digital sculpture we create the suit and other elements, giving the highest level of detail to fabrics and skin.
We worked the heads separately, with different expressions and hairstyles, to make them fit perfectly in the figure.
We developed a digital sculpture ¼ scale with high level of detail and interchangeable heads.
Commemorative miniature development for Freak Wars II.
The client wanted a miniature that could be used in different wargames, with interchangeable pieces.
The client asked us for a miniature that had the arms on his shoulder and had interchangeable parts. In addition, he sent us illustrations and photos that he liked to try to get the same style.
Based on these references we model a miniature with a static pose but attractive, and natural to have the arms over its shoulder. As a detail to give more strength to the character, we replaced the rock that was initially to be treading, by a crushed skull.
We also modeled two heads, one with a helmet and one without it, and three arms, one with an axe, another with a ball and a third with a rifle.
Finally, we prepare the miniature for 3D printing to fit all interchangeable pieces.
We model a miniature with interchangeable heads and arms that can be used in different wargames.
Private project of a 3D figure of Superman, with interchangeable heads and hands., with one of the Injustice suits.
We looked at references of different comics and based on them we tried 4 different poses. Finally, the pose that best represented the story “Injustice” was chosen.
With the chosen pose we work the anatomy of the figure and model the two heads. Then, we go into detail the character, which has the lines of the suit made by hand.
The base was conceptualized in 2D and modeled in 3D making sure that it does not detract from the character in any view.
We model a figure with interchangeable heads and hands, with a high level of detail and a base that works in all views.
If you look the base, you will see that Superman has destroyed the Batman logo with a punch.
Private project, in collaboration with Kfir Merlaub, of a 3D figure of Doomsday, one of Superman’s enemies.
In this case we proposed a faithful head to the comics style, with the same level of detail and style already modeled.
We modified some details in the body and we modeled some pieces following the classic suit of Doomsday, for example the belt.
We also did a review of the base and added the traffic sign for the city of Metropolis.
We model a head and some new elements besides detailing the model.
Sculpture of several 3D miniatures for one team of Fantasy Football.
The client wanted to develop the “Chaos Alliance” team that included marauder mutants, a goblin, a skaven, a dark elf, a minotaur, an ogre and a troll.
The client sent us references of illustrations and 3D miniatures that he liked and had the style he wanted for his team. We, based on these references, proposed to the customer a Viking aesthetic for Marauder so, in addition to maintaining the style that the client wanted, they had a slightly different and original touch.
For the Marauder we proposed to the client a concept art based on a Viking aesthetic combined with the references style. These 3D miniatures, in addition to different poses, have different pieces and mutations so each character is different from the others.
In addition to the Marauders, we modeled some special players, for whom we tried different poses to find the one that best transmitted the strength and dynamism that we were looking for in each character.
For the team “Chaos Alliance” we designed a logo that was included in the belt of each of the 3D miniatures, as well as armors and common elements, to reinforce the aesthetics of equipment.
When we finished the 3D miniatures we proposed to the client the cuts. Once the producer validated it, we made the cuts and prepared the miniatures for production.
A total of 14 miniatures were modeled on a 31 mm scale to the eyes, where the 3 special miniatures have a larger proportion.
Private project of a digital sculpture of Silk (Cindy Moon) with interchangeable heads, one of the characters from Marvel Comics.
We tried different poses and different bases to find the combination that worked best.
With the pose chosen we modeled the character with two heads. With one of the heads it’d be wearing a mask and with the other head its face would be exposed.
We sculpted different fabric textures for the suit, and erosions and damage to the base elements.
We developed a digital sculpture with high level of detail and interchangeable heads.
ZBrush modeling of one character from Maschinen project by Ignacio Fernández Ríos.
The client wanted to produce a “Zangrahel The Guardian of the Shelter” figure, one of the characters from his Maschinen illustration project.
Based on the Zangrahel illustration, we modeled with ZBrush the anatomical base trying to be as close as possible to the illustration.
Later, in the pose phase we tried to respect the pose of the illustration, and we made small adjustments to make it work in all views.
With the pose already made and approved, we modeled in 3D the different elements of the figure, like the arms and the base.
Once finished the modeling we detailed all elements and prepared the figure for production.
We managed to develop a figure faithful to the illustration, preserving the pose and composition on a 1/8 scale figure.

Private project of two realistic figures of Flash, with two different costumes in the same pose, in 3D.
After researching and seeking references in Flash and Justice League comics, we made several tests.
The first thing we did was to create the anatomical basis to define the proportion and character musculature.
Once we get the desired anatomy, we studying different poses and we started working on different costumes, detailing the 52 suit by hand to made it realistic.
Finally, we made a design for the base taking into account that, if it were produced, it would be transparent resin to achieve water effect. We use water modeling to hold the figure to the base and not fall.
We managed to develop two realistic figures of Flash, one with its classic suit and another with its new 52 suit, which can be exchanged on the same base.
3D modeling of 4 Christmas scenes for bumpers of the AXN tv channel.
The client needed the modeling of 4 scenes inspired by movies and a tv serie, with different themes, that would turn into Christmas scenes.
The client told us his idea and he showed us snowballs and figures as references to obtain a similar appearance.
We modeled 4 scenes, 3 of them simulate snowballs:
A scene of a castaway on island that turns into a Santa Claus.
A scene of Batman and Superman fighting that turns into two snowmen playing.
A scene from a haunted house that turns into a Christmas house.
In addition, a fourth scene was created where the characters of The Big Bang Theory tv serie turns into the same characters with beards and Christmas hats.
When the scenes was modeled, we add the color and export for our client can animate it.
We developed 4 Christmas transforming scenes, for which we modeled 8 scenes.
